Malcolm Jamaal Warner found Dead at 54

The entertainment industry is facing a difficult day with the news of Malcolm Jamaal Warner's unexpected passing. Known for his role as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, the actor died from asphyxia. Costa Rican authorities reported that he passed away near Codes beach in Limon after being caught by the current and was found deceased on Sunday afternoon. According to the Associated Press, beachgoers rescued him, but it was the Costa Rican Red Cross first responders who pronounced him dead and transported him to the morgue.

His significant roles included The Resident and Malcolm & Eddie. He was also a bass guitar player and performance poet. His debut EP, The Miles Long Mixtape, was released in 2003, followed by Love and Social Issues. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
