Romeo Santos drops La Formula Vol 3. not dropping the veil on traditional bachata.

The legendary king of bachata Romeo Santos released his anticipated album La Formula Vol. 3 on digital streaming platforms on September 1st. With the emergence of the different subgenres of Latin genre becoming part of the mainstream culture not only does Santos continues to push through and continues to keep the traditional genre alive in his music.

As per billboard Santos states

“If I do an urban song, it could be massive. I don’t want it to be a distraction,” he says without conceit. “You have these amazing artists who right now are in their prime offering urban music. I wanted to make a difference and speak for my genre. Bachata needs me. I needed to put on my Superman cape for my culture.”

La Formula Vol. 3 follows its predecessor the 2019 La Formula Vol 2. which remained on top of Billboard Top Latin charts for 386 consecutive weeks (7 years). The new project contains features from fan favorites from across multiple genres such as Justin Timberlake, Rosalia, even comedy legend Katt Williams who kicked the album off. For lovers off the bachata genre this is the album to listen to.
