EMACC: I would say, God gave everyone a special gift, and it’s up to us to use those gifts to our advantage. Have confidence and believe in yourself, never give up until the race is over. MJ: Giving back is key when we mention Hip Hop and the culture. However, we also know how the business can be. Why was is so important for you to showcase the talent of up and coming artists? EMACC: It’s simply the right thing to do. I wanted to give artists the opportunity to live out their dreams and to open the door to our broken society, and in time fix the problems. What someone else has attempted to destroy I’m here to rebuild. MJ: Your first signed rapper is K.TWO. Tell everyone a little bit about him, why he was chosen to represent Emacculent Entertainment, and what projects he has going on. EMACC: K.TWO is actually an artist I help raise. We have a few new projects we are working on. We have some big features ready to bless his new album and he’s also working on a new mix tape with the help of some mega producers in the industry. I must say it’s a blessing to be where we are, and I’m eager to see where we go with the guidance of God! MJ: Talk about the label. Will Emacculent Entertainment be limited to artists only? EMACC: Absolutely not! I want to be involved with anything under the umbrella of entertainment. I want to display talent and also give the people what they want and demand especially when it comes to down to music or putting on a dynamic show. I am working everyday around the clock to create artist’s opportunities to show off their talents and shine. MJ: Without giving too much away, what can listeners expect from volume 1 of the “Emacculent Compilation”? EMACC: A universal sound with a mixture of Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B, Pop, Trap, Rock, and Latin. We display a collaboration of sound’s and cultures. I will make history with this album and my label. MJ: To make it in Hollywood you have to wear many different hats, entrepreneur being the biggest! Do you have a preference over acting, business man, modeling, and talent scouting? EMACC: I was told I am the “Moses” of my family. I’m here to lead and help artists grow, so my preference is I like helping people I realize I am here to help other individuals. I believe we are all King’s and Queens. MJ: As we wrap up, is there anything else you would like Hollywood and the world to know about yourself and Emacculent Entertainment? EMACC: Be on the lookout for Emacculent Ent. • What is happening to our society?

As a first generation Greek American I have come to notice the differences in how my generation was raised as opposed to the generations prior to myself as well as the generations that have come after me. Our parents have been raised in rural strict environments and have been taught to be have in certain ways as well as live immensely in their culture and to value family over everything. It sickens me to see how today's society has turned out. Preparing for our interview and discussion with the cast of The Ave I have come to reflect on current events and how things could have been changed and current thoughts. If you have not seen The Ave on Amazon Prime and or YouTube it discusses the lives of young men in Brownsville Brooklyn that look to better their lives following their harmful decisions of their pasts coming to haunt them. In an interview with PIX11 he describes their struggle of the young men wanting to better their lives for themselves and their families while at the same time the show describes the struggles of suicide, depression, peer pressure and everyday conversations that the world has felt uncomfortable to speak about today. Although its inspiring to see people like Bobby Ashley take a stand and talk about current and relevant issues we must think about what is currently going on in todays society that has provoked responses such as The Ave show. We may start with recent events, the shooting of Lesandro JR Guzman a fifteen year old who was killed to malicious intent and mistaken identity. When talking about this shall we start with the ignorance of the murderous killers , or those including the store owners and the police. Lesandro JR Guzman had been called to go to a bodega to repay five dollars he owes, to only be discovered by the trinitarios mistaking him for someone that had recorded the sexual conducts of the girlfriend of one of the members. After the young woman was caught in sexual actions she informed the brothers as well as the boyfriend of the teenager that she was being raped; when in fact she partook in the sexual activities with consent. Lesandro who was an explorer with the NYPD was seeking refuge within the bodega in the Bronx where the 8 individuals dragged him over the counter and stabbed him with machettes one of them was in the neck. After he tried to make his way to the local hospital he collapsed in which individuals were on their phone recording instead of seeking medical attention for the 15 year old. He was later pronounced dead and the life of his mother has changed ever since. My question is what happened to the parents that disciplined their children? Our mothers did not allow us to have certain freedoms at such a young age and they taught us from right and wrong despite no matter who may harm us. As a female and a rape victim I am ashamed of the young lady that put Junior in that position that took his life, as a woman you are to have more respect for yourself and your body despite your age. If a woman chooses to get involved in a sexual relationship at any age you must be responsible and be able to handle it yourselves if not CLOSE YOUR LEGS! It is very simple. With every action there is an equal an opposite reaction, due to one lie a young life will never go to prom, will never get to get married will never get to enjoy life. We continue to blame the killers and the female but what happened to the parents that raised these kids, why are we not teaching our children the values that were put upon us by our parents. What happened to the culture and traditions that we pass on that way our children have a sense of right and wrong. Instead of parents leaving their children home with their grandparents so they can go drink and have fun with their friends why are we not spending time with them, keeping up with their school work and activities, not allowing these children to be in the streets or to have their noses and eyeballs in their phones. Parents you see the example that is made here that in the end of the day ten lives have been ruined and one has been taken away at such an early age. What is happening here in society? GET OFF YOUR ASSES AND DO SOMETHING BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. As per the individuals that were recording him and not doing anything why would someone sit there and watch. If you see someone getting hurt the initial reaction would be to call the police , help a person bleeding to receive medical help. Do not sit there using your phone to record it on the live feed, do not allow something to happen we need to take action. We are all so self absorbed that nothing else matters. That is disgusting. Why must we have blinders on just to save our sorry asses and just continue living. Everyone must realize that 30 years ago we did not have social media, cellphones, and technology as a whole. We should have taught our children to be able to be sufficient with or without technology. Open your eyes forget about the petty bullshit , stop trying to step up to someone to show that your better than them. It truly isnt worth it. We are hurting people and getting killed in the process everyday lets bring humanity back lets not downgrade our society more than we are, let fix the problem not be the problem. Thank you the Avenue series for opening our eyes and helping us really evaluate things.

  • June has marked the evolution of Live Johnson

It has been the summer of the hip hop renaissance as the Living Legend from Lefrak Queens has transformed from the quiet overlooked graphic designer / artist to the powerhouse producer, artist , graphic designer and overall stronger human being. His latest release Living Legend is not only the next step of his artistic career but it is an album from the heart discussing his hardships and feelings since his almost departure from the music scene over a year ago. The ten track compilation with two bonus tracks that can only be purchased with the advance tickets to his release party has a storyline in which he talks about his inner most feelings on life as well as his thoughts on todays state of the indie industry and social issues that we speak. Our favorite tracks will include Keep it Moving, Giving Up, and Voiceless featuring Scorpio P as well as songstress Nikki Owens who also plays Farah on the webseries lips. Keep it Moving and Giving up coincide with each other, Giving Up describes Live's feelings in terms of the adversities he has faced and how many people feel the same way that he does. As he progressed in his musical journey over the last year and a half he developed a sense of confidence in which he has allowed the adversities and the negativity past him and he decides to Keep it Moving, it is an anthem to those that go through so much and how to keep pushing no matter how hard it is. Voiceless is an anthem, with Live Johnson and Scorpio P describing the silence that many of us had faced in terms of racism, depression, and more with Nikki Owens being the voice crying out through the silence tied both of the sentiments of the two artists together. Their recent performance at the release party showed how much music is such a powerful outlet and that if we all use our voices and not allow ourselves to be voiceless maybe we can make a difference. You need to download and buy Live Johnsons album and stay tuned for his latest promotional tour coming up. Follow Live Johnson everywhere at @iamlivejohnson and go to www.livejohnson.com

  • Catch the Vibe this summer with All Hail The King

At the stroke of midnight on May 31st Kony Brooks released his anticipated album All Hail The King . The thirteen track compilation is the start of the revival of hip-hop. Kony is by far one of the artist that have led the movement for the renaissance of the essence of Hip Hop. What is interesting and amazing about Kony is that although he has kept up the thot boy persona with his fellow label mates he has been able to do what many artist in today's underground scene could not..... Show his real self. The album bringing ties all elements that is Kony the storyteller, the thot, and the person. He has allowed himself to tell his story through a variety of different beats and elements making it memorable for those who listen to it. Not only are his beats unique so are his features, alongside him featured on the album are label mates Teddy Grahams and JR Just Real but there was a surprise as the illustrious Pretty Girl First appears on the album in the hit Got em too which depicts not only the thot side of the male brain but shows that females can thot along just as much. Not only has he stood toe to toe in this case showing that women can be equally guilty but she has lyrically stood toe to toe with the King of New York himself something no man or women has ever been able to do; can you imagine what a performance between the two would look like. The other feature with label mate Teddy Grahams is a fast pace Thot Boy banger in We Ballers talking about shooting their shot with the their latest conquest but the execution of the beat is a unique one it gives in a way such as an old school trumpet giving an interlude to the wow factor that is Kony and Teddy .This is not the first time the two label mates have collaborated on a track, however everytime they collaborate on a track or project they always set the bar higher and higher for artists everywhere. One of the most memorable tracks inspired by Biggie Smalls own Dreams had the King of New York stand out from the rest of the artists. Indiestry freak is the depiction of what everyone does when they are talking in the locker room or sauna , yes ladies you know you gossip about guys too and who you would want to do the dirty deed with. Kony has taken his locker room talk and brought it too the next level where he has aired his words and is not afraid to say what he thinks. Included in this locker room talk is former Rawrr guests Asia Golden and Lia Givenchy and more. He makes you think about who you would fantasize about as well. How many of you have had thoughts about someone you work with and the fantasy keeps you going. Although his songs catch this vibe, airplane mode and Rough featuring New York's own Mickey Factz has been catchy and you want to bump to it. You have two memorable songs that touch not only your heart but the core of your soul. The first being Make it On My Own featuring label mate JR Just Real the song as Kony states was the one song he had the most time with. Depicting his life tale of contemplation of contemplation of suicide, the loss of a child, his relationship with his mother and more makes you cry when you hear it because you understand. Coming from a background such as my own I have cried and sang to JR part every time it plays. We all want someone to be proud of us as much as we want to be proud of ourselves we want the validation although it isnt necessary. For the first time we have seen and heard the real Kony Brooks which is amazing. Three fifths is a powerful statement the closing record of the album talking about equality or lack there of in today's society as well as how life has been difficult with the current agent orange in charge (president) has expanded on racism and has branded ignorance in the highest form. That no matter how well he does he is still three fifths. Without giving the rest of the album away you must know this is Konys best project to date and with that you must stream and buy the album on all digital retailers everywhere. Dont believe me follow @konybrooks on all social media platforms and see the magic for your self

  • Fox Sports Analyst Gives Back with The King Movement

Recently myself alongside ICMG 2 Deep own Ray Fame and Rockview's own S-Rock and Raybeauty attended the Power is Industry Event powered by Power 105 and had many notable names such as Platinum Producer Amadeus , Ruff Ryders Drag On, and more. What stood out to us the most outside of his wisdom and thoughts on the current standing of the NBA was his discussion on his program the King Movement. The mission of the program according to their website is to Empower Men to reach our God-given potential in every realm of life through the power and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. To help us become husbands, fathers, leaders, citizens and role models god created us to be. To Present to our families, communities, nation and world an image of men as God-Fearing, family -oriented, moral,. loving, intelligent, responsible and productive. Lastly, To Glorify the Most High God by walking in true Biblical manhood. The Board includes not only Broussard but Allan Houston of the New York Knicks , Dwight Howard Senior father of Dwight Howard JR , former Olympic Gold Medal winnder Michael Redd former NBA Allstar with the Milwaukee Bucks , Sports Anchor Michael Smith and more.. In lament terms the King program started by Broussard is a program to help our kids stay off the street which is absolutely amazing, because as much as we had youth programs when we were in high school they did not give us as much attention as we needed in order to be well rounded individuals in today's society. The King program is devoted to giving these individuals a platform to express themselves as well as fight the battle that is racism. That is an amazing thing for young adults to take a stance like that in a world that lets things like that slide. The King movement also works through music, these young artists are expressing themselves through music check out their latest youtube video.
