JD EICHER CELEBRATES TWO DECADES OF MUSIC WITH 20-YEAR TOUR

Ohio-based indie rocker and songwriter JD Eicher is celebrating a remarkable milestone—20 years of writing and performing original music—with a special fall U.S. tour that will showcase both his intimate acoustic shows and the full-band energy that has defined his career.

The 20-Year Tour kicks off September 18 in Cleveland, OH, and will travel through major cities including New York, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Chicago, Detroit, and Indianapolis before wrapping up on November 20 in Columbus, OH.

Eicher will be joined by longtime collaborators Dylan Kollat (drums) and Jim Merhaut (bass), as well as a roster of special guests throughout the run, including Jesse Ruben, Steve Everett, and Aaron Newsome.

Reflecting on the journey, Eicher says:

“At the end of high school and into college (20 years ago!), I started playing my original songs for anyone who would listen. Coffee shops, garages, fields across Pennsylvania—it didn’t matter. The joy of writing and performing was the pursuit, and it still is. This tour is a chance to celebrate the journey—the new songs, the old songs, and the people who’ve kept this project alive by showing up.”

Known for his expressive vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and indie-pop sound, Eicher has built a career that bridges intimate storytelling and anthemic full-band moments. His music has taken him across the U.S. and abroad, sharing stages with Coldplay, Train, Maroon 5, The Zombies, and more. In 2016, he was selected by bestselling author Nicholas Sparks to provide the soundtrack for Two By Two, with the title track featured on Good Morning America.

The 20-Year Tour comes as Eicher prepares to release the final single from his multi-year self-produced project in late 2025, with a new full-length album set for early 2026.
