- Rawrrzone Interviews Signature Art Series
With the PG -13 concert happening tomorrow, the stirr has been going crazy. It is the first time in our career where we saw someone put an entire production of teenagers and the younger generation and helping to develop the culture. Giving the future a chance to do something and mentor them in ways we did not have growing up. While we will be there capturing the moments as Katie Kay Photography we also had to do a little of our thing by having a interview with the man in charge Suplex Sparrow and Iquell Reina 1) Tell us a little about yourselves, how did you become partners for this event? Sparrow - Ique and I have worked together in the past on another kid event .As a partner for that event he was so involved . He was there to map out the theme of the event , he invested time into making sure we had all the elements to make it the best presentation possible for the youth . He even flew in early from Florida to New York to help us set up the venue . We had it prepared before doors open . I knew that if we wanted to replicate what we did in the past , Ique is the best person to partner with . He is selfless and want to provide the best experience possible to the young performers . 2) Why is this event important to both of you ? What is your goal for this PG 13 concert? Sparrow - For me it’s the fact that I know that NYC lacks legit platforms for young people to showcase their talents . Even putting this event together was challenging because it’s a one of one . We had to scout and take the risk to lend our vision to teenagers . We don’t know if this will work in our favor . We do know that their aren’t many youth events on this level on the indie circuit . We are creating that bridge . Our goal is to make this an event where we can get eyes on the talent and inspire other promoters to open their door for this type of event . 3) How did you decide who would perform? Ique- Those are secrets I will never reveal lol . Artist just continue to submit to perform . If you pass the requirements you’ll be selected ...and called . 4) What sets this event apart from other events you have done as artists and as curators? Ique- This is a targeted teenage event . And it’s a first of its kind for us . All the production elements are the same so is the promotional elements of the event . 5) Tell us about the theme of the concert? Sparrow- The title is called #ThePG13concert. It stems from movie ratings that suggest a film is child friendly but also contains parent suggested edginess . This event is not like Dream Street . That was a child-friendly event . That was a Disney movie . the PG-13 concert is more edgier . It’s a Action Movie . Parental discretion is advised. 6) Tell us how does it feel to be one of the few entities putting on a production for the children in our so called "indiestry"? Ique -The indiestry is a market like any other market . We’re proud to be the one to implement child and teen friendly events into it . We’re just serving our purpose. 7) What do you feel we are lacking in today's society as mentors , friends , aids to our youth? Sparrow - I think people in position are lacking transparency. We all want to be celebrated and adored . But we don’t want to pay that blessing forward and pass it on . Actions speak louder than words and some people can say that and do a good job of selling that . But when it gets down to the fourth wall do that really mean what they say . Are they being transparent with others . And more importantly themselves. 8) What do you wish we can do for these children that we did not have done for ourselves? Ique - Give them an honest presentation for themselves. For this show we are not charging them . We are not promising that we are changing their lives and “putting them on” . What we have is a platform that we can promote them consistently and make them look as good as possible to their audience . 9) What should we expect from the PG-13 Concert? Sparrow - Value and some dope ass young talent . An experience. 10) What advice do you have for these kids as they follow their path to greatness ? Sparrow - Stick to their Script and never be afraid to fail . Ique- put god in all you do and keep prayer in your routine . Follow them on instagram @signatureseries and make sure you pop out to the PG-13 concert tomorrow ! The young kids are a force to be reckoned with.

Unfiltered and unapologetic singer/songwriter Razakel releases visuals for her single “Pariah.” The Texas-based artist lays her spades on the table and responds to those who cast her as a reject. - Rawrr Picks - Honey Dinero Pink Honey
There have been many artists that have put out amazing projects in 2019, but this artist this project stands out to us the most. For those that do not know Pink Honey was a project released on Halloween by Honey Dinero. For those that do not know her you might know her as Benny on a New York Minute or her first project Lipstick and Bullets . However you may know her her presence has resonated in more ways than one. But this project hits home as the album Pink Honey reflects on her journey as a breast cancer survivor. Photo Credit to Big Aqe During her listening session on October 30th we heard a different side of Honey Dinero as the project had personal conversations with her physicians and raw emotion as the project was a documentation of her journey thus far. The listening party was a gathering of her closest friends, family, colleagues and media. Her listening party included a sit down interview as they went through each song on the track list. Our favorites from the album include Dont Count Me Out, Alkaline Flow, and Long Kiss. Dont Count Me Out is intense especially in the start of the song, as Honey does a small interlude with the slow rhythm of the heart monitor. She warns the world do not count her out as she takes over cancer and she will take over the industry. Alkaline flow the name came from the Alkaline she had in her system during her chemotherapy, using this as a metaphor she gave the world the bars for the hustlers. Long Kiss is for the men that waste females time. She did not hold punches as she told the world for all the time she wasted she could have masturbated. That is something we can all attest to for time invested that we had in prior relationships that we won't get back. We don't want to give you everything so make sure you follow her everywhere @honeydinero
- He was once Local Now hes BakeMan Global ALIVE is Causing A Stir and We are All About It
I may not be where I want to be, but I'm so far from where I used to be! A lot to be thankful for! - Bakeman Global Since his rise joining Para Music Group, there has not been one single person who does not know who Bakeman Global is . One thing is for sure 2019 has been the year for Bakeman. The former basketball star who traveled the world had children waiting for him after he played is now making people wait in lines as hes shutting down the independent scene. Released on the 17th ALIVE (Adopted to Life in Various Eras) is the example of the power this man wields with his pen. The ten song project is a musical representation of his thoughts and his life, while its cover is a symbolic representation of himself. Going off of our own opinions the statue head represents Bakeman and the Legacy he will leave once his time on this planet is up. The crack on the side of his face shows that the struggles of life are not always easy and hes continuing to prosper through life. The lead single The Old You featuring the Hamiltones is by far one of the most creative singles I have heard in 2019. The former background vocalists for soul singer Anthony Hamilton have added their quartet styled music and RNB vibes really gave us the vibe of a Hip Hop Love Story. Be Gone should be the anthem of 2019-2020, during our everyday struggles we encounter people that give us negative energy. This song is dedicated to the naysayers and those that put us through nothing but grief. His aggressive approach and the production by Davincii shows us how serious he is in protecting his aura in life. Where were You featuring Kenny Dark has us in our feelings as he is at his most vulnerable. A testament to his father he is speaking to him as he discusses what the absence of the paternal figure has left him. As someone that lost their father at an early age you learn to feel for people that go through what you went through or similar to. Without giving the whole project away make sure you check out ALIVE on all digital streaming platforms and follow him on ig: @bakemanglobal
- Scorpio P. Engages us with his Directors Notes
Coming off the success of his EP Street Food Scorpio P. takes to the studio and combines his love for the theater and his love for music giving us his debut project Directors Notes . The project dedicated to his mentor Tim who passed away from cancer is a testament of his talent and passion for both of the crafts. The owner and found of the Minefield Theater Group structured the album like a screenplay, each track represents a certain story of his life. With his features reflecting each of the tracks cohesively. From the story of the Hustle in All Day featuring Kony Brooks and Frank Knight to the feel good sounds of kickin' it featuring manager and BBP leader Bizzy Bee each song gave the listeners a vibe that leaves a ever lasting impression. However, the track that stood out the most to us was Wings pt 2 featuring Jay -El aka Jarrel Lynch of The Label Noir. Both being under the Tutiledge of Tim they both collaborated in combining their talents and tributing the man that gave them the motivation and the lessons they sought in life. This song was their tribute to him as they both have admitted to knowing him was an intricate part of their lives and they are who they are because of him. Its truly touching to see someone honored the way they honor him. The project is definitely something that should be listened to. - SINN x Chill Beatz Talk "Ryder Music" V2
On October 4th, 25-year music vet SINN will release the 1st single off his forthcoming sophomore album “Ryder Music” volume 2. I had the chance to sit down with SINN and in-house mega-producer Chill Beatz to discuss both the single and album. MJ: You recently announced the news of the forthcoming release of your sophomore album of Ryder Music. As a vet in the industry, your music is a timeline of your life and shows your growth as an artist. In three words describe this album. SINN: A musical journey… “Riding season is almost over, time to heat up the winter with Ryder Music…Da Ryder King Sinn is parking the bike and sparking up the mic” -SINN MJ: The relationship between artist and producer is crucial when curating timeless music. Talk about the chemistry between you and in-house mega-producer Chill Beatz. Chill: We push each other to do things that we don’t’ think are possible. Every beat is like a blank canvas and SINN is the artist! We are brothers first, so the rest is easy. SINN: Chill nailed it, our chemistry comes from our love of music, and a brotherly bond we have beyond the music. MJ: Without giving too much away, share a little with the fans on what they can expect from Ryder Music Vol 2. How would you describe the SINN fans will get from this album? SINN: For this album, I took the fans on a cruise on their favorite ride down a freshly paved road and I wanted to be their tour guide down the Ryder Music highway… MJ: Chill, let listeners know about the dynamics of this album from production's standpoint. Chill: This album stayed true to the ryder music concept. Sinn also wanted to give his fans something they may hear in the clubs, so it was fun adding an R&B/Pop mix to this concept. MJ: Take us behind the scenes and talk about everything that went into putting this album together, from the thought process to the final product. SINN: As a vet in the game people tend to forget what struggles and growth you must go through as a person and as an artist. I’ve always been told I approach everything in an unconventional fashion, so I decided to give the fans the same great recipe just prepared differently. The thought process was for the world to know “the name and know the difference.” Chill: SINN didn’t say a lot during this process other than it's time for them “to know the name and know the difference.” No one can get in that man's creative head. MJ: Word is the album will be released teaser-style, with a new single every two weeks. Tell us a little about the debut single. SINN: The debut single is called "Make it Home" featuring Rita. This is a song for everyone who leaves out the door and has one goal in their mind; to make it home safe back in the arms of the one they love. MJ: If you had to choose two personal favorites off the album what would those records be, and why? Chill: I don’t really have a favorite but “Make It Home” is a song I think all the fans and listeners can relate to. SINN: My two favorites are "No Matter What" and “That’s What They Do.” The theme in “No Matter What” focuses on loyalty and no matter how far I go up the ladder I’ll always be around for my team. “That’s What They Do” describes how a mature and secure man can refuse temptations and be loyal to his one and only. MJ: As we wrap up, is there anything else you would like to mention about Ryder Music Volume 2? SINN: I feel this is my best work to date, the most monumental. Chill: Buckle Up!
